Dispensary Training

Despite sales of adult-use cannabis not officially launching until July 1, Massachusetts is readying itself to become the East Coast destination for cannasseurs. As summer launches into full swing on the east coast, the calendar is already bursting with events centered on cannabis. If you’re ready to network in the industry’s newest market or strike a yoga pose in Beantown, Massachusetts has plenty to offer this summer!

At the  Massachusetts’ Expanding Cannabis Economy Forum on June 20 in Boston you’ll hear from industry experts in panel discussions about Massachusetts’ emerging cannabis industry. Topics to be explored include the economic impact of the industry in such areas as tourism and job creation, as well as a discussion of the entrepreneurial opportunities that the industry will bring. The event is presented by the Massachusetts Cannabis Business Association, a trade group whose focus is on cannabis industry education and best practices.

CannaCon Boston

On July 27-28, CannaCon comes to beautiful Boston. Attendees have the opportunity to network with industry professionals, connect with vendors at the expo, and gain insights from experts at seminars meant to inform and educate.

New England Marijuana Dispensary Training on June 16 in Danvers is a Professional Training Course designed specifically for anyone wanting to work in a cannabis dispensary. The 4-hour training is comprehensive, covering such topics as the medicinal properties of cannabis, how to serve medical patients, and the laws in multiple New England states. Those who participate are tested at the end, with those who pass receiving a certification to work in a dispensary.

Health & Wellness

June 21 is Yoga Day in Boston and the perfect time to check out Marijuasana! This BYOC (bring your own cannabis) event offers an elevated yoga experience, focusing on cannabis’ role as an effective wellness. And in case one day isn’t enough for you, there are yoga pop-ups happening all weekend.

This is just a taste of the summer fun happening in Massachusetts. After adult-use sales start July 1, we bet there will be many others added to the calendar!
