The Rules:

Now that recreational shops are open (as of Jan 2018), all you need to visit any of San Diego’s recreational dispensaries is a valid form of government-issued identification proving that you are over the age of 21.

Best Spot to Cure the Munchies:

Battered, fried, covered in crispy slaw and drizzled with creamy special sauce and spicy salsa…. The locals agree that a California style fish taco is the best San Diego munchie food there is. WHERE to get the best fish taco, however, is up for debate among the locals…but we always trust the surfers to tell us what’s up. Best Place to get the Giggles:

Where better to get the giggles than at a comedy club?! Take a stroll around the historic Gaslamp District in San Diego and then catch a late show at the Mad House Comedy Club!

Best Moment of Zen:

If you are looking for a post-surf meditation spot, the Self Realization Fellowship’s Meditation Gardens in Encinitas are as good as it gets. Once the home of spiritual guru Paramahansa Yogananda, these gardens feature a winding maze of plants and flowers, and overlook the spectacular Swami’s beach. Quiet is a must when you visit, as these are sacred gardens and must be treated with great respect.

Best Outdoor Adventure:

If you REALLY want to get high, try paragliding over San Diego’s gorgeous Torrey Pines  Forest, looking out over the ocean! With over 100 years of history, Torry Pines Gliderport is one of the most historic places in the country to learn how to fly.
