Candyland is a hybrid, but one would swear that it is pure sativa. It is sativa-dominant, taking on a lot of its traits from one of its two parents, Platinum Girl Scout Cookies. However, it does have some things in common with its other parent, Granddaddy Purple. With proud parents like that, it was obvious that Candyland was going to be a very special strain. Candyland has an interesting flavor. It is pungent, but it is a nice pungency of sweetness with earthy undertones. The user will not only enjoy the flavor, but also the psychoactive effects that Candyland has to offer. It will make you feel happy, uplifted, relaxed, and energetic. That burst of energy is perfect to use creatively, meaning that Candyland is a great daytime strain for artists, musicians, writers, and anyone else that uses the creative side of their brain! The strain is also effective in treating several medical conditions, including anxiety, depression, pain, headaches, and fatigue. It is suggested that you use it during the daytime, as aforementioned, since it is likely to keep you awake. The strain does have some negatives. It will dry out your eyes and your mouth, but those can both be easily combated. Unfortunately, it is not as easy to combat some of the less common side effects, which are anxiety, dizziness, and paranoia.
