The Mental Health Benefits Of CBD -

Cannabidiol, commonly referred to as CBD, is one of the many natural compounds found in cannabis plants. While research into CBD and its potential benefits has been limited due to marijuana’s status as a Schedule 1 substance in the U.S., it has time and time again proven to be a very successful form of treatment for helping those suffering from depression, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and many other mental health issues.

Unfortunately, despite CBD not being a psychoactive substance and regardless of its significant positive effects on many fronts, it is still very much illegal in the eyes of the federal government. With the many side effects of the medications that are often the foundation of most forms of traditional treatment, we can see why many folks turn to CBD as an alternative medicine.
